For the Love of Music – Friday 25th September

The horrid weather couldn’t spoil the fun for us as we celebrated For the Love of Music huddled from the rains at the lovely Wyse House campsite last month. Thank you so much to everyone who braved the weather and came out to listen to our music as we played to the beautiful sunset and tweeting birds that appeared for us from out of the dark clouds.

This month we are heading back to the Friends Meeting House in Malton for our regular monthly acoustic listening concert with The Twisty Turns – and this time there will be a special guest spot from Greg Genre – a one-man-band singer songwriter. See you all there!

Tonight! For the Love of Music in Malton

Tonight! For the Love of Music presents The Twisty Turns and Dr Dave Longworth at the Friends Meeting House in Malton.
Please join us in this beautiful setting for an intimate listening concert with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. This is a new music club in Malton, and we would love your support to help us keep original and lesser known music alive.

Doors open at 18:30 Concert begins at 19:00 sharp.

Friday 24th July – For the Love of Music continues!

Thanks to everyone who supported For the Love of Music last month, it was a great opening night. We continue this month by returning to the very lovely Friends Meeting House in Malton on Friday 24th July. The twisty Turns will be supported by singer/songwriter and local legend -Dr Dave Longworth.

Doors open at 6:30PM and the concert begins at 7PM sharp.

Please come along to support this new music night, the acoustic listening concerts are free entry and everyone who loves to listen to great music played acoustically in an intimate setting will be welcomed into a friendly atmosphere.

Friday 24th July – For the Love of Music

Carrying on from the success of our opening night last month, For the Love of Music will return to the tranquil setting of the rather handsome Friends Meeting House in Malton on Friday the 24th of July.

The Twisty Turns, with their exciting original acoustic country folk music will be accompanied on the bill by a local legend – Dr Dave Longworth, an excellent singer/songwriter who is well known in the local area.

We look forward to welcoming you all and we hope that you will continue to support this new music club of intimate listening concerts, as we try to establish our regular musical gatherings, and hope to promote art and culture in the Ryedale area.
